St. James Westminster Memorial Garden was dedicated in June 2003, fulfilling the vision of former Rector Archdeacon Kenneth Anderson. It is located at the front of the Church on Askin Street and nestled between the two main buildings. This award-winning space is administered by a Committee of Stewards responsible to the Parish Council of St. James Westminster Church.
The garden is available to the church and surrounding community for the following uses
a) A place to meditate in peace and tranquility.
b) A place for small group gatherings, lncluding.- Communion Services, Marriage
Services, Funeral Services, Musical Recitals.
c) A place where photographs may be taken.
d) A place for the memorialization of cremains
e) Other appropriate uses as determined by the Trustees.
